German flag carrier Lufthansa is eyeing expansion of its Private Jet service to the Middle East and Asia Pacific as demand for the top-end service, operated as a joint venture with NetJets Europe, continues to grow.

The airline recently extended its contract with NetJets by five years and has introduced the large cabin Dassault Falcon 2000 to the Private Jet fleet, which also includes the mid-size Raytheon Hawker 800XP, superlight Cessna Citation XLS and Bravo light business jets.

Lufthansa Private Jet was launched two years ago to offer its business and first class passengers connections to more than 1,000 airports within Europe and the Russian Federation.

"We now book around 10 aircraft a day," says the airline.
