Germany's Daimler-Benz Aerospace has selected Airscrew Howden of the UK to supply a fan-heater system for reconnaissance pods on Panavia Tornados of the German air force. The £250,000 ($423,000) order follows a two-year development contract. Airscrew says that the system contract is "part of the company's strategic move from component supplier to system integrator".
