Part of the celebrations for the arrival of Virgin Atlantic's new Airbus A340-600 today were held at its newly completed hangar at London Heathrow Airport, built by construction consultancy TPS Consult. The hangar was designed by TPS to house the four-engined jetliner, which is the first of its type to be delivered.
TPS has a long track record of working at airports worldwide and in the UK, and is a preferred supplier of UK airports group BAA. Elsewhere at Heathrow TPS is working at the airport's new fifth terminal.
