Service entry of the Lockheed Martin-upgraded telemetry and tracking network at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, has been delayed by "technical problems". The tracking system was due to replace the current one which is 30 years old. Snags were encountered during testing, which began in November. The new system was to have been used during Space Shuttle-expendable launch vehicle and missile launches between March and June.
