The Israeli defence ministry has extended a deadline for responses to a request for information on a new fleet of basic jet trainers from mid-February until early April. Representatives from 45 companies – including firms from Europe, Israel, Latin America and the USA – participated in a recent briefing on the private finance initiative requirement, which seeks to replace the Israeli air force’s CM170 Zukit (Fouga Magister) trainers.
