Swedish charter airline Transjet Airways has introduced the first of three Boeing 747-200s which it will operate on Hajj pilgrimage flights. The first aircraft is scheduled to be joined by a further two examples of the type, both ex-Tower Air operated -200s, in the next few weeks. The airline, which started operations in the middle of last year, already operates two Boeing MD-80s on ad hoc and sub-charters from various European airports.
