Transmile Group is to buy an additional 9% of Malaysian domestic carrier Transmile Air for 18 million ringgit ($5 million) from a private shareholder, taking its stake to 70%. Pos Malaysia will retain 30%. The acquisition, and that of 19% of investment holding company CyberGen, will be financed by a Transmile Group share issue. The company also plans a rights issue to part-finance aircraft purchases.
