Rolls-Royce has signed a $75 million contract with CIT Aerospace for its Trent 700s to be fitted to three Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
Firm orders for Trent 700-powered aircraft total 134, representing a 37% share of the A330 market.
The engine is in service with 23 customers worldwide. CIT aerospace has more than 90 airline customers and a portfolio of more than 250 commercial aircraft from all major manufacturers.
