James Stothard has been appointed director of sales for the Austin, Texas-based avionics division of navigation company Trimble, of Sunnyvale, California. He was formerly director of international sales and marketing at Garmin International and, before that, he was with AlliedSignal/King Radio for more than 21 years as vice-president of worldwide marketing and vice-president of international marketing.
