Marshall Aerospace has been selected by the Tanker & Transport Service Company (TTSC) as part of its bid for the UK's £13 billion ($21.3billion) Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft competition. If TTSC is successful, Marshall will convert Boeing 767s to tankers. Marshall previously converted Lockheed L-1011 TriStars to tanker-transports for the UK Royal Air Force and McDonnell Douglas DC-10s for the Royal Netherlands Air Force.
