Swissair has chosen the SITA/France Telecom/Teleglobe Canada/Telestra Satellite Aircom in-flight entertainment communications system for its medium-haul fleet of Airbus A319, A320 and A321 narrow-bodies. The airline has already retrofitted its McDonnell Douglas MD-11s and is about to begin equipping its Boeing 747-300s. Scandinavian Airline System has also selected the product for its Boeing 767-300s, and Air France is to follow suit. Alitalia will use Satellite Aircom on its fleet of MD-11s and Boeing 747s. KLM has begun using Aircom on its business-class Boeing 767, 747 and MD-11 flights.
