Tunisair wants to become an associate member of the SkyTeam alliance, and is in talks with Air France, already a partner on North Africa routes between the two countries, to help it gain membership. The associate programme allows carriers use of the SkyTeam brand in their geographic region without the full cost of SkyTeam membership.
