New Piper Aircraft plans to launch a turboprop version of the Malibu Mirage piston single at the US National Business Aviation Association show in Dallas, Texas, in September. The US manufacturer says that the aircraft will be powered by a Pratt & Whitney PT6 variant, and that deliveries are due to begin in 2000.
