Turkey has signed a $12 million deal for an Israeli-developed night-targeting system to equip its Bell Textron AH-1W SuperCobra helicopters - the first contract to be signed between the two countries' defence industries. The system, which was developed by Israel Aircraft Industries subsidary Taman, will be supplied jointly with Kollsman, which is its US marketing partner.
