Turkish Airlines has started a four-times-weekly service from its Istanbul base to Oran in Algeria.
Oran becomes Turkish’s second destination in the African nation, after the capital Algiers.
Flightglobal’s Innovata schedules show Air Algerie to be a competitor on both routes.
With the addition of Oran, Turkish now operates to 248 destinations across 106 countries, says the carrier.
