Turkish Airlines (THY) has signed a firm order with Airbus for three additional A330-200 freighters and has firmed up options on 10 Airbus A321s.
The aircraft are scheduled for delivery from 2012 onwards, says an Airbus spokeswoman.
The 10 A321s relate to the firming up of options that were "not in the order book", adds the spokeswoman.
THY took delivery of its first A330-200F last year. It also operates four A310-300 freighters.
The freighters ordered today will be fitted with Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines.
THY's existing fleet also comprises 50 A320-family aircraft, 11 A330s and nine A340s.
