Star Alliance carrier Turkish Airlines aims to open 14 new destinations in 2012 and carry over 38 million passengers.
In a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange the airline said the new routes will include Accra-Abidjan, Leipzig, Edinburgh, Aalborg-Billund, Bremen and Kinshasa.
Last month it also disclosed plans to operate to Buenos Aires, Mogadishu, Misrata, Bilbao-La Coruna, Novosibirsk-Ulaanbaatar, and Abuja-Kano.
Turkish Airlines said the total number of destinations would be 14.
It also aims to carry 17.2 million domestic and 21 million international passengers next year, with revenues of TL14.6 billion ($7.6 billion) and a load factor of 73.6%. Turkish Airlines plans to add 18 aircraft to its fleet.
