The Turkish army has ordered the Tadiran Spectralink airborne search- and-rescue systems for the Turkish army Eurocopter AS 532UL Cougar helicopters. The ASR-700 is the airborne unit which allows search-and rescue helicopters or fixed- wing aircraft quickly to locate a downed pilot.
