Tusas Aerospace Industries (TAI) (Stand C6, Hall 4) has improved its TURNA firing target unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the result is on show at Paris.

The new TURNA/G does not require a runway. It can be launched from a bungee catapult and recovered by a parachute, and can operate autonomously beyond visual range. It can be monitored and commanded through a ground control station and can also follow pre-defined courses.

TAI has designed and produced two target drones, as well as their launchers and ground equipment, for the TAF. The other system, called KEKLIK, is a tracking target drone.
