Hurst Green Plastics, manufacturer of the TwinBin component storage system, has been selected for the system design and demonstration stage of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter programme.

The initial order to cover 1,650 part numbers follows the successful supply into both military and commercial aerospace programmes in the UK, Europe and the United States.

Boost

Steve Clarke, managing director of HGP, says: "To get this order during Farnborough International is a great boost for us. With a number of requests for quotation out at the moment, this provides the foundation for another successful airshow."

Hurst Green Plastics is exhibiting in the pavilion of the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA), which incorporates 50 companies from the UK's north-west region.

The NWAA - the UK's largest aerospace regional grouping - occupies space in Hall 1, Stands D7 and D10/11/12.
