Scottish budget carrier Flyglobespan has agreed to lease two Boeing 787s from ILFC starting from 2010 while UK leisure carrier Monarch Airlines has ordered six 787s for delivery between 2010 and 2013. Flyglobespan will use its 787s to expand its transatlantic network. Monarch will use its 787s on long-haul routes now served with a mix of Airbus A300s, A330s and 767s.
