Flight delays at UK airports increased in the second quarter of 1998, compared to the corresponding quarter in 1997. According to figures released by the CAA, delays for scheduled flights at the London airports worsened by one minute to 15 minutes, with charter flights increasing to 43 minutes, from 40 minutes.
