UK minister of state for business and enterprise Mark Prisk today underscored the government's commitment to helping the UK aerospace industry boost exports - especially of military equipment.

Speaking at the Royal Aeronautical Society, Prisk said that while exporting 70% of its output was impressive, more could be achieved and the government was determined to support the industry, including by running more overseas trade missions.

"We don't have the same bottomless pit of funds [as some other nations], but we as a government do have the commitment," he said.
