Faced with budgetary pressures after the Iraq campaign, the UK Ministry of Defence has halved its funding commitment to the Joint Unmanned Air Vehicle Experimentation Programme (JUEP) to £10 million ($18 million)for the 12 months from 1 April. Trials activity for the next year will include the launch and recovery of UAVs from naval vessels, says the JUEP.
