The UK has ordered 15 Raytheon Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) Block IIICs, and taken options on 15 more, in a deal valued at $100 million by the USA. The UK Ministry of Defence says the order is to maintain stocks and ensure the system's operational effectiveness with the Royal Navy. HMS Splendid fired an undisclosed number of TLAMs in the opening action of the Kosovo crisis.
