UND Aerospace at the University of North Dakota has appointed Richard Nelson to the new position of managing director of aviation. He was formerly president and chief executive of Skyway Airlines, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and, before that, he held senior management positions with Alaskan carrier Markair. He began his career with Golden West Airlines, where he was chief pilot.
