UNI Airways, a subsidiary of Taiwan-based EVA Airways, has acquired four more MD-90s from Boeing to expand its regional route network. The aircraft will be delivered by the end of this year, joining 10 MD-90s . At least three of the aircraft are believed originally to have been ordered by Turkish Cypriot charter airline KTHY, which failed to raise the necessary finance to take delivery. The aircraft were acquired through Boeing's Aircraft Trading department, which markets new and used Boeing-owned aircraft.
