United Airlines will launch new service to London, Ontario, from its Newark Liberty International airport hub in October.
The twice-daily service will be flown on 50-seat Embraer ERJ145 operated by United Express partner ExpressJet Airlines from 26 October, London International airport says.
“We now have a new gateway to the Eastern Seaboard,” says Brad Rice, business development manager at the airport, in a statement. “United’s Newark hub provides excellent connecting opportunities throughout the United States and to destinations in Europe.”
The Chicago-based Star Alliance carrier has tweaked its Canadian network from Newark recently. It will end service to Moncton, New Brunswick, in September after serving the airport for about eight years.
