United Airlines has signed up for 30 more Airbus A320 family aircraft. The purchase, worth more than $1.33 billion, will boost its order for the single aisle models to 111. The new deal includes 20 A320s and 10 A319s for delivery in 2000 (seven A320s) and 2001 (13 A320s and 10 A319s). All the aircraft are to be powered by International Aero Engines V2500s.
