Judy Bishop has been named vice-president for North America sales at United Airlines, of Chicago, Illinois. She was formerly regional manager for passenger sales. Dan Walsh becomes vice-president for the North America East Region. Walsh, who will be based in New York, was previously Los Angeles, California, regional manager for passenger sales. Roger Gibson is appointed vice-president for the North America Mountain Region. To be based in Denver, Colorado, Gibson was previously vice-president for the Northwest Region. Mark Liberman is named vice-president for the North America West Region, based in Los Angeles California. He was formerly vice-president for the Latin-America division. Glenn Wright is appointed vice-president for the North America Midwest Region. Previously vice-president for the East Region, Wright will be based in Chicago. Maria Sastre becomes vice-president of the Latin-America division. Sastre, previously director for Latin-American sales planning, will be based in Miami, Florida. Gary Jefferson is appointed vice-president for public affairs. Previously regional vice-president central, Jefferson will be based in Chicago.
