The latest addition to Dassault Aviation’s Falcon range of business jets has been launched at the NBAA.
The new 2000DX is to replace the Falcon 2000 in 2007 and has been developed for customers with less extensive city pair requirements than the longer-range 2000EX currently provides.
Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308C engines, rated at 7,000lb thrust (31kN), the 2000DX’s operating costs are estimated to be 5% lower than those of the Falcon 2000 it replaces.
”The 2000DX will carry the long tradition of high performance, superior efficiency and cabin comfort that the Falcon family is known for,” says John Rosanvallon, president and chief executive of Dassault Falcon.
The 2000DX has a 3,250nm (6,000km) range.
