UNITED PARCEL SERVICE (UPS) TOOK delivery of its first Boeing 767-300 Freighter, powered by General Electric CF6-80C2s, on 12 October. Atlanta-based UPS became the first customer for the 767 Freighter in January 1993 when it placed orders and options for 60. The aircraft is capable of carrying a 60t maximum payload over a distance of 5,550km (3,000nm), or a 45t payload over 7,400km.
