Responding to a US DoT warning that its rights were in jeopardy, UPS will increase its cargo service to Bangkok. Told that it must use or lose the full complement of Taipei-Bangkok flights for which it applied, the Louisville, Kentucky-based cargo giant will bring its once-weekly service up to six-times weekly. UPS, which had planned to have all six weekly frequencies operational by April 2001, will instead upgrade the service by late September.
