US Airways and Boeing have settled a legal dispute involving the airline's 1996 cancellation of an order for eight Boeing 757s and 40 737s. US Airways admitted a breach of contract and made an undisclosed settlement to Boeing. Meanwhile, the airline is considering purchase of an undisclosed number of longhaul Boeing or Airbus Industrie widebodies.
