A US Air Force C-5 was forced to land at Baghdad International airport on 8 January after ground fire caused an explosion in the number four engine, USAF says. The 11 crew members and 52 military passengers on board were not injured. The pilot declared an in-flight emergency shortly after take-off. The aircraft was assigned to the 22nd Airlift Squadron at Travis AFB, California.
