Boeing has handed over to the US Navy the first T-45 jet trainer with a digital cockpit. The upgraded aircraft, designated the T-45C, as opposed to the T-45A, is equipped with two multi-function displays, one for the front seat and one for the back seat. The Navy intends to upgrade all of its T-45As, which are stationed at NAS Kingsville, Texas, to the T-45C standard.
