Van's Aircraft has begun flight testing its first four-seater, the RV-10. The all-metal aircraft has fixed tricycle gear and is designed to be powered by a 200-260hp (150-195kW) Lycoming IO-540. Performance goals include a 175kt (325km/h) cruise speed and 1,600ft/min (8.1m/s) climb rate.
