Safran subsidiary Snecma and India’s Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) are to launch a Bangalore-based joint venture to manufacture aeroengine components and assemblies starting in early 2006. It will produce parts for Snecma and Turbomeca engines, and the CFM International CFM56.
