Adams Aviation and Walter Dittel (Hall 1, Stand A14) are showing one of the first dual-channel VHF airband radios to be ready for the new 8.33kHz channel spacing. The date for the introduction of the new channel spacing, for aircraft flying above 24,500ft (7,400m) within European airspace, has been put back to October 1999, but the new radio can cope with either the existing 25kHz or new 8.33kHz spacings at the push of a button.

The FSG900 model will fit a standard instrument panel or can be fitted into the existing Dittel portable case. It has been granted UK CAA Approval for both airborne and ground operations.
