Tecnam is launching at AirVenture 2010 later this week a slate of new incentives to spur a new generation of students to begin flying lessons in the company’s light sport aircraft.
A central tenet in the programme, along with financing and leasing incentives, is to allow new students to bring the gadgets they know and love, like the Apple iPad, into the cockpit. The company’s new iPad-based flight training program, available for $249 for the sport or private pilot’s licenses from the on-line Apple applications store, doubles as a comprehensive study, test guide and a training aid as well as a navigation and safety tool in the cockpit.
