The Zond centre for the study of anomalous phenomena claims that Ukraine has seen an increase in UFO activity over recent years.
The centre said that in the 1990s there were up to 15 reports a year and now the number has increased to around 30 a year.
"Most of them are accompanied by photos and videos," said Artyom Bilyk, the centre's secretary.
