Fast-growing Vietnam Airlines is to lease two more Boeing 777-200ERs from International Lease Finance (ILFC) for delivery next year. It already operates four 777s that it purchased from the manufacturer and two that it leases from ILFC. Separately, the airline has signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase 10 A321s from Airbus, and confirms that it plans to order four Boeing 7E7s. The carrier is also close to ordering 10 more Airbus A321s. It has already taken delivery of four from the five it has on order.
