Russian carrier VIM-Avia has selected Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services to carry out maintenance on its newly-introduced Boeing 777 fleet.
The airline, which has confirmed the agreement, has a single example of the type, a 777-200 delivered in April.
Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services is a venture between the US airframer, China Eastern Airlines, and Shanghai airport authorities.
VIM-Avia says the maintenance firm has 11 customers in Russia and Central Asia, including AirBridgeCargo and Air Astana.
