Cayman Islands-based Pegasus Air has acquired an ex-Air New Zealand Saab 340A and is retrofitting the aircraft for VIP use. Pegasus is backed by Cayman Islands hotel developer Mike Ryan and will be used to fly VIPs staying at the new Grand Cayman Ritz-Carlton, which has established a flight operations division.
