Brussels-based low-fare airline Virgin Express has cut its ties with SN Brussels Airlines by deciding to discontinue its codesharing agreement on routes between Brussels and Scandinavia.

Virgin Express will instead codeshare with Swedish regional carrier Malm" Aviation on flights between Brussels and Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Stockholm from 30 March. Virgin Express will operate the three daily rotations between Brussels and Copenhagen using Boeing 737s. Malm" will operate three daily flights between Brussels and Stockholm and two daily flights between Brussels and Gothenburg with BAE Systems RJ100s.

This is the third co-operation agreement Virgin Express has signed in recent weeks, adding to its partnership with Dutch virtual airline Budget Air on the Amsterdam-Rome route and a codeshare agreement with VLM Airlines on the Brussels-London City service.
