Virgin Atlantic is to hire 1,500 staff over the next 18 months as part of its expansion plans.
Around 1,100 cabin crew positions need filling, 150 based at London Gatwick and Heathrow airports, including engineering positions, and 100 office-based headquarters roles, along with 150 flightdeck staff.
New routes to Cuba and the Bahamas began this month, routes to Dubai and Jamaica start next year and more services to destinations such as Singapore are planned.
