VisionAire has broken ground for the Ames, Iowa, final-assembly plant for its Vantage single-engined business jet. Scheduled for completion in mid-1998, the plant will consist of buildings for final assembly and flight testing, with land available for a paint hangar and additional final-assembly space, if required.
