Nephew Hugh reports from the 11th International Conference on Space Planes and Hypersonic Propulsion and Systems in France where, during a related technical tour, the French speaker from a missile-making company raised a few eyebrows by saying he wished to "penetrate the US with our products". Meanwhile, over at Auxitrol, the presentations included a slide declaring the company's apparent expertise in "Landing Gear and Breaking Systems". Magnifique!
