Warsaw Frederic Chopin has reopened following the removal from the runway of a LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 767-300ER, which carried out a gear-up emergency landing on 1 November.
The airport reopened at 22:30 on 2 November.
"Thanks to the great involvement of Chopin Airport ground services and good co-operation with the LOT Polish Airlines team, the removal of the Boeing 767 from the airport runway was conducted expeditiously," said the airport.
LOT said that it would resume its normal schedule from Warsaw today.
LOT flight LO 016, en route from New York Newark to Warsaw, was carrying 220 passengers and 11 crew members when it was forced to make an emergency landing after the aircraft's landing gear failed to deploy.
The airline blamed a "central hydraulic failure" for the incident.
