The first test of an improved sensor fuzed weapon (SFW) scored four times the hits, immobilised more than twice the targets and nearly doubled the area of the current SFW, says manufacturer Textron Systems. The SFW carried 10 improved BLU-108 submunitions, each with four sensor-fuzed warheads.
